One of the benefits to having a part time evening/weekend job is that I have plenty of time to spend on the passtimes commonly associate with the un and underemployed. Things such as reading, watching movies, and playing on the computer. I try to look at the postive aspects. Yes, I might be functionally poor, but at least I am building knowledge that will help me find a better job. This is what I tell myself, although at times it feels as if I am studying the same things as when I was an English major except now that I'm 26, I'm not getting graded and I don't really have a full time job I feel lazier doing it.
